2007

Fashion Art Paco Rabanne emerges as a visionary urban project commissioned by the Pasajes Government and Paco Rabanne himself, spanning from 2003 to 2005. Architect Julian Argilagos Pi was entrusted with its design, departing from conventional urban layouts to integrate an underground road network, reflecting the futuristic principles of the Paco Rabanne Foundation.

At its core, this urban complex embodies technological advancement and sustainability. Two striking buildings adorned with Solar Screens harness solar energy to power the city, while a state-of-the-art water recycling plant ensures efficient use of resources. Within this dynamic landscape, a Polytechnic University of Industrial Design fosters innovation alongside a convention center, shops, and cultural spaces.

The architectural marvel extends to residential quarters, where sleek apartment buildings stand tall, complemented by the Museum of Steel Pre-porter and the iconic Paco Rabanne Museum.

These structures, reminiscent of airborne bubbles, symbolize a renaissance in a once-neglected region. By employing cutting-edge materials like steel, glass, and concrete, Fashion Art Paco Rabanne not only revitalizes the landscape but also heralds a new era of industrial-technological growth, revitalizing an area marred by the decline of traditional industries.
